Taking a tour of the towns, the Chief Minister was told by officials on how a drain was made into a river. The 150-acres town has an Active Beautiful Clean (ABC) water policy.
The Chief Minister enquired if the officials could offer their expertise in making AP’s canals and rivers Active Beautiful and Clean. He has instructed MA & UD minister P. Narayana and Secretary A. Giridhar to coordinate with officials and work out a plan to implement ABC policy in Andhra Pradesh’s towns.
During his visit, the Chief Minister was informed that a huge volunteer network – close to 3,000 people – and MPs too work to take care of Singapore’s parks. The Park officer informed the Chief Minister that people are continuously consulted for value-addition and that “there’s no park better than a people’s park.”
