Rajamahendravaram: Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy (Annavaram) temple executive officer Vendra Trinadh Rao said that the annual Kalyanotsavam of the Lord (celestial wedding) will be held on May 5 on the sacred shrine Ratnagiri, the abode of the Lord Satyanarayana Swamy.
Reviewing the arrangements with the officials concerned and the priests of the temple at his chamber on Monday, Trinatha Rao said that the celestial festival would be performed on a grand scale. The officials and priests put forward several suggestions in this regard. The temple at Annavaram is one of the most popular temples in Andhra Pradesh attracting thousands of devotees.
Thousands of devotees will witness the holy event and the officials should plan accordingly for hassle-free Darshan, accommodation, distribution of prasadams, he added. Another meeting would also be held in this regard shortly.
Chief priests Kondaveeti Satyanarayana, Nagabhatla Kameshwara Sarma and officials were present on the occasion.
