Inaugurating a Clubs Carnival at the campus here on Thursday, the Vice-chancellor said the clubs also help the students to make new inventions.
The logos made by the students are very interesting and enthusiastic. The students should put their endeavour to achieve their goals, he added.
University College of Engineering Principal Dr V Persis said an incentive of Rs 10,000 would be given to best club in the University to encourage the students.
All the departments should start the clubs to tap the hidden talent of the students.
All the four departments in the college started the clubs with the encouragement of vice-chancellor, she added.
Professors PS Varma, S Teki and others were present on the occasion.
