Kakinada, Feb 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has said that a total of 18 Disha dedicated police stations to deal with the sexual harassment and molestation of womenfolk, girls would come up in the state and would be fully operational by month end .
Inaugurating the first Disha Mahila police station at Rajahmundry on Saturday, Jagan said the sole aim in establishing of dedicated police stations was to protect the women, girl child from sexual assaults by strictly implementing the Disha act .
Later launching the special Disha App at a function held at Adi Kavi Nannaya university, the CM said Disha police stations would come up in all the 13 districts apart from one each in Visakhapatnam , Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati cities making the total to eighteen.
