Vice President to be on two-day visit to Raipur

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will be on a two-day visit to the capital city Raipur on December 26 and 27.

As per itinerary of the Vice President, he would arrive at Raipur from Rajahmundry Airport through a special plane of Indian Air Force at 5.35 PM at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur. He would then proceed to Raj Bhawan. He would halt there for a night.

On December 27, he would proceed from Swami Vivekananda Airport to Balangir, Odisha through IAF special helicopter. He would participate in the local programme and return to Raipu at 1.15 PM. He would then proceed to Raj Bhawan. At 4.00 pm he would inaugurate a programme of the Indian Economic Association as chief guest. He would then reach Raipur Airport and proceed to New Delhi through an IAF special plane.

Raipur Collector Dr S Bharatidasan and Senior Superintendent of Police Mohammed Arif Shaikh on Monday held a meeting of the senior officials of the district and event organizers to discuss about the visit and the preparedness.
