Comedian Ali’s mother Mohammad Zebeda passes away

Star comedian Ali’s mother Mohammad Zebeda passed away at home in Rajahmundry early on Thursday (December 19) following age-related health issues, family sources said. She was 77.
Mohammad Zebeda, who is survived by her son Ali headed to Rajahmundry where her daughter lives with her family. She often went to the home for visits, during which they would share beautiful memories with her daughter’s family. Zebeda’s husband, Mohammad Basha, was a tailor by profession.
Ali, who is busy shooting for a Hindi film in Ranchi, was deeply saddened the by news of Zebeda’s passing. This one left him with gruesome. He immediately returned to the place where her mother died. Sources say her mortal remains will be kept for homage in Rajahmundry till evening and then will be taken to Hyderabad for the last rites.

Ali was known for his work in movies such as Hello Brother, Yamaleela, Shubhalagnam, Ghatotkachudu, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, Pokiri and Gabbar Singh to name a few. He won Nandi Award for Best Child Actor -Seethakoka Chiluka (1981) and Nandi Special Jury Award for Pittala Dora (1996). He was last seen in the film Chanakya in 2019.
Ali tied the knot with Zubeda Sultana Begum in 1994, and they have two daughters, Mohd Fathima Rameezun and Zuveria Meethi and a son, Mohd Abdul Subhan. Ali is also a television presenter who hosts the popular talk show Ali Tho Saradaga in a famous channel.
