Rajamahendravaram: Walkers, Yoga and Laughing Club has distributed pensions to the aged persons and also extended financial assistance at their meeting held at Ananda Gardens here on Tuesday.
A pension amount of Rs 350 was given to 100 aged persons and a financial assistance of Rs 8,000 each was given to two students as part of their monthly programme. Retired professor S Ganapathi Rao and Indrani couple donated an amount of Rs 10,000, Sitara hotel owner PV Kutumba Rao donated an amount of Rs 10,000 and Rose Milk shop owner Gubba Ramachandra Rao donated an amount of Rs 5,000.
The club founder president Pamarthi Gopala Rao, president Majji Appa Rao, secretary Allu Madhu and others were present.
