Two dead bodies were found at Dhawaleswaram Barrage on Friday. The deceased are identified as Pawan Kumar and Bhavani of Hyderabad who are the passengers of the tourist boat, which sunk in Godavari river at Kuchchullur in East Godavari district. With this, the toll climbs to 38.
Authorities found four bodies near Dhavaleswaram Cotton Barrage on Friday. They were shifted to Rajahmundry Government Hospital. After the postmortem, two bodies were identified by relatives.
It has been reported that the boating operations have stopped. Operation Royal Vashistha has been halted due to flooding in the Godavari.
