Rajamahendravaram: Aditya Degree College NSS volunteers planted as many as 72 saplings at Kalyana Nagar of Konthamur village in rural mandal under the aegis of Friends Service Society on Sunday.
NSS volunateers participated in the programme. Aditya Group director SP Gangi Reddy said that NSS volunteers of the college are in forefront in social service activities. NSS is the right forum to the students to serve the needy in society, he added.
He advised the students to inculcate the habit of serving the needy from college days which benefits a lot in future. Dr Karri Rama Reddy, Dr GV Rama Rao, Dr GVS Rao, NSS programme officer GVSN Rao and others were present.
