Rajamahendravaram: Representatives of Bala Tripura Sundari Banasancha Vartaka Sangham of Devi Chowk met YSR Congress Party city in-charge Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam at his office here on Friday.
The members of the Association requested the city coordinator to get permission from the officials to allow them to sell crackers at Kambala Tank in connection with ensuing Diwali festival. The officials refused to grant them permission to sell crackers.
Sivarama Subramanyam assured to get permission for selling crackers at Kambala tank. Association president KV Chalapathi Rao, vice-president P Venkat Rao, secretary GS Rao and others were present.
