Rajamahendravaram: Students of the Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) has made eco-friendly Vinayaka idols in connection with the Vinayaka Chaturdhi festival.
The students made the idols using mobile and computer waste and spare parts of hardware, clay and unused material which were not harmful to the environment.
GIET Engineering College principal Dr Satyanarayana said that the students proved their mettle in making Vinaya idols by using waste material. He congratulated the students for making eco-friendly Vinayaka idols.
