Rajamahendravaram: Chief cardiologist of KIMS Hospital Dr NS Rama Raju has said that World Heart Daycelebrations will be held at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here from 9 am on a grand scale on Saturday.
Speaking to the media at the Press Club here on Friday, he said the celebrations were aimed to create awareness among the people on dietary habits and physical exercises on cardiovascular health and also to learn the strategies of primary prevention of heart disease.
It also provides education on basic life support and assessment of the Atherosclerotic cardiovascular, he added. Sub-Collector R Mahesh Kumar, municipal corporation commissioner Abishikta Kishore, Dr A Nageswara Rao, Dr A Prasanna Kumar and Dr N Lakshman Rao will speak on various aspects of heart diseases.
He appealed to the people to participate in the programme to know about their heart and relevant issues.
