Will Rakul end her dry run at BO?

After being tagged as ‘senior’, the offers are not so promising for Rakul Preet Singh as they were before. As the news of her being inducted into Kamal Haasan’s upcoming project Bharateeyudu 2 doing rounds, there is quite a buzz in the industry circles that Rakul would surely make it big this time.

After her role as Sridevi in NTR Kathanayakudu and as Ajay Devgn’s love interest in the Bollywood flick De De Pyaar De, her fans assumed that Rakul is back in form with a positive vibe. The very next movie, NGK turned out to be a dud at the box office.

However, Nagarjuna-starrer Manmadhudu 2 leaves respite in the end. Now, it is learnt that she bagged a key role in Bharateeyudu 2 where she is paired opposite actor Siddharth. She will also be sharing screen space with Aishwarya Rajesh, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Kajal Aggarwal who are playing lead roles in the the flick. The next schedule of the movie will start on September 19 in scenic locations of Rajahmundry.

Bharateeyudu 2 is a sequel to the blockbuster movie Bharateeyudu which was released in 1996. The shooting of the sequel has started in January earlier this year. However, there has been quite a delay due to financial constraints which arose with the production house Lika. Anirudh is rendering the music for the film.

People in the industry and Telugu fans are hoping that she would end her dry run at the box office with Bharateeyudu 2. The Delhi girl has taken time out of her busy schedules to spend some leisure time holidaying in Europe. Some of her pictures in which she is seen wearing a swimsuit are currently going viral on social media.
