BC leaders stage dharna in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Association leaders staged dharna at Sub-Collector’s office here on Tuesday, demanding that the government implement GO number 550 which was authorised by apex court.

Participating in dharna, the association leaders Goli Ravi, Kadali Venkateswara Rao and Majji Appa Rao alleged that the officials of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences giving wrong version to the GO number 550 and doing injustice to the candidates of reservation category relating to medical seats.

They demanded that the government initiate action against respective officials in this regard and warned that the association will go for agitation if the government fails to fulfil their justifiable demand. Later, they submitted a memorandum to Sub-Collector Ravirala Mahesh Kumar.
