Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ to resume in Hyderabad

We had earlier reported that Kamal Haasan‘s ‘Indian 2‘ sirected by Shankar is all set to be revived in August after it was rumoured that the film has been dropped. The latest is that director Shankar is currently camping in Andhra Pradesh to scouting locations for the shooting. The shooting is set to resume from August 19 and a major portion is expected to be canned in Andhra Pradesh, especially in Rajahmundry.
While Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to the play the female lead and also undergone training in Kalaripayattu, an Indian martial art, veteran actor Delhi Ganesh is also part of the film. Actress Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Priya Bhavani Shankar haven recently been roped in as well.
While Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for the film, Ravi Varma will be handling the camera.
A sequel to the blockbuster vigilante thriller of the same name, ‘Indian 2’ will see Kamal Haasan returning as the freedom fighter Senapathy. Looks like Kamal Haasan is all set to be older, wiser and deadlier in this film.
