Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation has cracked whip on owners of cattle who are allowing their cattle freely on the roads and bus stations posing problem to the pedestrians as well as vehicle users in the city.
Speaking to The Hans India, corporation additional commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao said that the corporation staff is shifting the cattle to the shelter arranged in Bobbilanka village where the corporation is providing fodder grass and water etc to the seized cattle.
The officials were directed to impose huge amount of fines on the owners of the cattle. Commissioner is very much particular in this regard, he said. Corporation health officer Dr MVR Murthi said during last one week as many as 57 cattle were shifted to Bobbilanka village. The cattle owners are liable for penal fee, he said and advised them not to allow them on the roads.
