No breakthrough in boy’s kidnap case

Kakinada: The police could not achieve any breakthrough in the kidnap case of four-year-old N Jasith of Mandapeta in East Godavari district.

It may be mentioned here that the boy was kidnapped by two masked men at the doorstep of his residence at Vijayalakshmi Nagar in Mandapeta town in the district late on Monday evening.

The boy’s parents are officers in different public sector banks in the town.

The boy’s father N Venkata Ramana is an Assistant Manager in Union Bank of India and mother is working in Canara Bank at Mandapeta.

District police chief Adanan Nayeem Asmi took up the investigation personally and on Wednesday Rajamahendravaram urban SP Dr. Shimoshi Bajpai joined the investigating team, Both the SPs are supervising the investigation by camping a Mandapeta.

According to SP, Nayeem Asmi, total 11 teams were sent to different places for investigation. The police are verifying the CCTV footage and call data through the mobile tower in the areas. The SP is hopeful of a breakthrough very soon.
