Rajamahendravaram: A two-day national seminar on ‘Block Chain and Bitcoin-Solutions and Applications’ was commenced at Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) campus under the aegis of university college of engineering here on Friday.
Addressing the students, faculty and researchers at the meet, Central Tobacco Research Institute (CTRI) principle scientist Dr H Ravi Shankar said that the developed countries are using Bitcoin technology for money transfer and Block Chain relating to education systems.
He underlined the need to adopt new technologies to compete with others and also for development as every day many changes are taking place in the world mainly relating to technologies. The seminar will benefit a lot to the participants and advised them to know well about it and gave a power point presentation in this regard.
Engineering college principal Dr V Persis said the college is hosting the national seminar and briefed about the advantages of Block Chain and Bitcion. It is the time for the students, faculty and researchers to elevate themselves to the changing trends, he said.
