MayorPantham Rajani Sesha Sai elaborates achievements

Rajamahendravaram: Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai has said that crores of rupees worth development works were executed in the city during five years of tenure as mayor. Speaking to reporters at her chamber here on Tuesday, in connection with her last working day, she said Godavari Maha Pushkaramas-2015 were performed on a massive scale by spending crores of rupees.

The city bagged best Swachh Bharat award for maintaining sanitation properly. All the primary, upper primary and corporation schools were strengthened by providing basic amenities to the students, filling of teacher posts etc.

English medium was introduced in all schools and because of the commitment of teachers, many students obtained 10/10 ranks in tenth class public examinations for two years. The corporators and officials extended their cooperation for the smooth running of administration during five years and coordinated work gave many good results, she added.
