Haemoglobin tests for RMC school girls conducted

Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation (RMC) has started conducting Haemoglobin tests to the girl students studying in corporation schools here on Thursday. Examining the girl students at Nannaya Municipal Corporation High School here on Thursday, corporation health officer Dr MVR Murthi said that the tests will be conducted for 3,500 girl students studying in 13 high schools and three upper primary schools.

To escalate blood count among the girl students, the corporation is distributing Folic Acid tablets along with nutrition food which will be continued for six months. Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar directed the health department in this regard to complete the task effectively, he averred. Corporation doctors Madhu, Sowmya and others were present.
