Govt appoints actor Ali as new APFDC Chairman

Amaravati: The AP government has decided to appoint YCP leader and Telugu comedian Ali as the new chairman of AP Film Development Corporation (APFDC). The orders of his appointment will be released soon.

Actor Ali has joined YCP in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and actively campaigned for the party in the recent elections in the state.

It's in the news that Ali has expected the YCP ticket from Rajahmundry, but he did not get it due to some political equations. In this context, CM YS Jagan has decided to appoint Ali as he APFDC chairman.

Earlier, TDP senior leader Ambika Krishna was heading the APFDC chairman post, and with his resignation, the position became vacant after election results.
