Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Institute of Fashion Technology (GIFT) principal Dr TV Prasad has said that Swami Vivekananda is a torch bearer to society and underlined the need to emulate the great personality by everyone in society.
Paying floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda in connection with his death anniversary on the premises of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) here on Thursday, he said he brought name and fame to the country with his speeches across the world.
He advised the students to study his autobiography to get benefitted for their better future and the students should follow his speeches. GIFT NSS unit conducted the programme. NSS programme officer YD Siva Prasad, Prof MVS Rao and others were present.
