APSET 2019 Exam Date Announced; Andhra University To Conduct Exam On 20 October!

Andhra University, in a recent press conference, revealed the important dates including exam date of APSET 2019. The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test will be held for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers and Assistant Professor in the state. It will be held at 6 regional centres in the state on October 20, 2019.

Paper 1 will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, that is of one hour duration. Then Paper II will be conducted from 11 AM to 1 PM, for 2 hours. Former would be common for all candidates. Latter will be subject specific exam.

APSET 2019 notification will be released on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Application form submission will begin more than one week after that on Monday, August 5, 2019. Online applications with standard registration fee will be accepted until September 12, 2019. After that, late fee shall be applicable in three slots.

With a late fee of Rs 1000, application form can be submitted until September 19, 2019. Then it can be submitted until September 26, 2019, with late fee of Rs 2000. And last slot to apply online is with late fee of Rs 5000 by October 3, 2019.

Date of issuance of admit card has not been published, though it is likely to be at least a week prior to exam. Then as mentioned previously, the exam will be conducted on the third Sunday in month of October.

The exam conducting body for APSET shall be Andhra University only for 2019, 2020, as well as 2021. AU has been given the responsibility of the exam for coming three years as a result of its successful conduct of exam in last three years.

A new subject – Visual Arts –  has been added in the list of subjects of APSET exam. Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test will be held for overall 30 subjects. Exam centres are identified at Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur and Tirupati.

Question paper of paper I shall be in English and Telugu. That of paper II will also be bilingual for commerce, economics, education, history, political science, public administration and sociology. For other papers, question paper will be in English only.
