On May 14, yesteryear actor and former Rajahmundry parliamentarian Murali Mohan collapsed suddenly while in Varanasi to dissolve the mortal remains of his late mother. He was shifted to Hyderabad’s Care Hospital, where the doctors advised that he should go through a spinal surgery immediately. The surgery was performed at the same hospital. Murali Mohan was discharged on Friday after being under the direct observation of doctors for several days.
Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha today called on Murali Mohan at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad. They have shared a rapport with him for many decades.
Meanwhile, Murali Mohan has issued a statement saying that he is fast recuperating and that the people of Rajahmundry needn’t feel anxious about his health. “I am looking forward to meeting you people soon in Rajahmundry,” he added.
