Vijayawada: Telugu Desam leaders review trends

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam high command began reviewing poll trends from Saturday, with the trends of Rajahmundry Parliament Constituency’s candidates.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu began the review and alleged that YSR Congress started a mind game against TD by spreading news about YSRC’s oath taking and Cabinet proposal but Andhra people rejected YSRC by giving their votes to TD in the elections.

He claimed that TD’s victory is inevitable and asked TD cadre to continue serving the public for the victory of TD.

Mr Naidu praised that Chandrababu Naidu Army (CBN Army) that worked arduously in this election and voters came to the booth aiming to make TD win. He said that people feel that while TD is in power, it is a pride to AP.

“Hence they responded largely to his call and stood in long queues till night to cast their votes to TD,” Mr Naidu said.

He said that TD leaders and cadre worked as a family in the elections. He claimed that he conducted teleconference with booth conveners for 78 times, addressed 110 public meetings and road shows but Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to address 60-70 meetings.

Mr Naidu urged MLAs to be better in public management. He alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra-sekhar Rao ordered to close Kukatpalli bus station and cancelled buses to AP during elections but Andhra people used other services and some people came in autorickshaws to Anantapur from Hyderabad to vote for TD that predicts the chances for TD’s victory in the elections.

He said that he came out of NDA in the right time, taking the right decision. Mr Naidu alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi harassed TD leaders, unable to digest them leaving NDA. He said that YSRC may win two or three seats in the election but Jagan started deals for those nominal seats also, for cancellation of his cases.

Mr Naidu asked the TD leaders to conduct assessment sincerely, comparing the results of 2009 and 2014 elections, and asked to work hard for the victory of TD in local body elections.
