Rajamahendravaram: People stayed indoors in the city for two days due to heat wave conditions and increasing temperatures. A maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded in the city here on Sunday. On Saturday, 46 degrees was recorded.
All the roads wore a deserted look in the city due to heavy temperature and three bus stations in the city were also seen with scattered passengers. There was heavy demand for air-conditioned restaurants to beat the heat. In the evenings, Godavari bund was seen with people coming to get relief from the cool breeze from the river.
