Lokesh opens ethnicwear showroom in city

Panchayat Raj and IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated Jahapanah, an ethnic wear showroom, on Bandar Road here on Friday.

Later speaking reporters, Mr. Lokesh expressed confidence that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would retain the power in the State. Party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu would form the government. The TDP would romp home comfortably. The party’s fight against the Election Commission of India (ECI) would continue, he said.

Medical Education Minister N. Md. Farooq, Vijayawada (West) MLA Jaleel Khan and others were present.

Jahapanah Directors Ishaaq Bukhari and Ibraheem Bukhari said stores would be opened in Visakahaptnam, Rajahmundry, Tirupati and Nellore in the next three months.

“We have plans to open 20 more stores in south India and plans are afoot to take their number to 50 by 2020,” they said.
