Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP MLA candidate Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao has appealed to the people to vote for him in the elections to develop the city on all fronts. As an MLA for ten years, the city has been developed but the development was hampered between 2014 and 2019 as no works were taken up by the MLA.
Participating in election campaign in the city here on Friday, he said there will be no peace in the city, if TDP candidate from Adireddy Appa Rao family gets elected. YSRCP can only give a peaceful atmosphere in the city. Adireddy family enjoyed power for 11 years as Adireddy Veera Raghavamma worked as mayor for five years and Adireddy Appa Rao worked as MLC for six years.
Adireddy Appa Rao acted as super power in the corporation when his wife Adireddy Veera Raghavamma worked as mayor and he harassed sanitation staff by not sanctioning wages, he alleged.
The people are well aware of them and underlined the need to defeat TDP candidate in the elections to maintain peace in the city.
