Hyderabad: In an important search operation, Cyberabad police seized Rs 2 crore from TDP leaders.
Mr. V.C. Sajanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad told that two persons were making an attempt to transfer Rs 2 crore to Rajahmundry by train. The arrested persons confessed that this amount was to be handed over to TDP candidate, Mr Murali Mohan.
Madhapur Police arrested N. Sri Hari (44) resident of Nizampet and M.Pandari (39) resident of Lingampally who were wandering aimlessly around Hitec City Railway Station. When they were searched, they confessed that they were transferring this amount on behalf of Jayabheri Institution to be used in A.P elections.
Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad informed that a case has been registered against Jagan Mohan, Dharmaraju, Murali Mohan and Murali Krishna.
It is reported that Mr Murali Mohan is an active leader of TDP.
