Rajamahendravaram: Under Badiki Podam programme as many as 10 children of Medarapeta area were identified and admitted in municipal primary school here on Thursday. Deputy inspector of schools Dileep Kumar, corporation schools supervisor P Durga Prasad, ULB coordinator Rama Devi and others were present.
They appealed to the parents to send their children to the schools for their better future. The government started the programme to identify the out of school children and admit them into government or corporation schools.
Qualified teachers are working in the schools on par with private schools and basic facilities are provided in the schools and quality food is served to the students under mid-day meals scheme.
