Cyberabad Police registered a case against Rajahmundry MP and TDP leader Muralimohan. Cyberabad CP Sajjanar said that the case was filed against Murali Mohan and five more in connection with the Rs 2 crore caught at Hitech City railway station on Wednesday evening. Two of the accused are in police custody and police have been identified as Muralimohan on run.
Cyberabad police have seized 2 crore rupees from two persons at the Hitech city railway station as part of the elections checking. The arrested person agreed that they are transporting the money to Murali Mohan’s daughter-in-law, Roopa who is contesting from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat from TDP.
Muralimohan is unavailable for comment. This is another example of how Telugu Desam Party is trying to use its money power to lure the voters ahead of the Elections. The polling for Andhra Pradesh Elections will happen on 11th of this month and the results will be out on May 23rd which is more than a month after the polling.
