Kakinada, Aug 13 (UNI) A woman was killed while husband injured when a speeding lorry rammed into their motorbike near Ramavaram village of Jaggampet Mandal, 45 km from here, on Monday.
Police said the woman was identified as Pulavakura Mary (28) and her husband as Ramana.
They were on their way to Rajahmundry from Siripuram when a speeding lorry from the opposite direction hit their bike.
“The woman’s body was taken to a nearby government hospital for postmortem and the lorry driver was arrested on the spot,” police official said.
