DSP caught red handed while accepting bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials caught red handed a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and a constable for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe.

The accused were identified as Pureti Narayana Rao, DSP South Zone in Rajahmundry Urban and Boddu Ramesh, constable at II town L&O police station.

Officials said the accused were caught red handed by a team of ACB at the DSP office in Rajahmundry on May 31 while accepting Rs 50,000 through the accused constable, who also demanded and accepted Rs 5,000 for himself. UNI DP KAS
