Pawan Kalyan and left parties stage Padayatra

The Jana Sena party of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and the left parties joined the agitation for special status today in their own style – padayatra – in Vijayawada.

Staging a counter campaign of TDP and YSRC the left and Jana Sena have taken out padayatras not only in Vijayawada causing traffic snarls on the highway to Kolkatta and Chennai but also at Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Rajahmundry etc.

Pawan Kalyan and associates also released a book – Whose capital is Amaravati ?- highlighting the issue illegalities and corruption in state capital construction – by retired IAS IYR Krishna Rao.

Pawan said that just like what he did in Hyderabad, Chandrababu had encouraged his followers to buy huge tracts of land around Amaravati for benefit of political capitalization. IYR Krishna Rao contended that the government spent Rs.8000 crore for just designs of the new capital.
