Passport service centre inaugurated in Kakinada

KAKINADA: Kakinada MP Thota Venkata Narasimham said that the Union external affairs ministry has arranged Regional Passport Service Centres at Kakinada and Rajahmundry. Inaugurating the Passport Service Centre at Head Post Office here on Saturday along with the Deputy CM N. China Rajappa, Mr Narasimham said that the people of East Godavari need not go to Visakhapatnam, Chennai or Hyderabad for passports. He said that the Amalapuram people can also get the passports from Kakinada.

He said that Tatkal facility is also available in the passport service centre. Mr China Rajappa said that many youth from East Godavari are going abroad for jobs, but they used to face problems to get the passports. But, now, they can make use of the Passport centre here.
