Naidu Will Never Quit NDA

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has no intention of pulling his party out of the NDA in the near future, but will continue to enact the drama that he is fighting for the rights of the state.

This was the opinion expressed by former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar on Monday. He told media at Rajahmundry that the TDP would achieve nothing but storming the well or raising slogans in Parliament.

“The NDA and Prime Minister will care a damn for the TDP, unless it comes out of the party. If Naidu really takes it seriously to question the NDA and pulls out of the Centre, he can easily pull down the NDA government,” Vundvalli said.

He also found fault with the YSR Congress party for keeping silent on the injustice meted out to AP in the budget.

“Like the TDP, the YSRC is also playing a drama to appease Modi. Both Naidu and Jaganmohan Reddy are afraid that they might have to be behind bars if they oppose Modi, because the latter might dig up cases against the two leaders. If Modi jails Naidu, his party will sure to win all the 175 assembly seats in the next elections,” Vundavalli said.

The former MP said the Centre is of the view that whatever funds that were released to the state would go only to contractors and not the people.

“There is still a lot of scope for Naidu to display his fighting spirit. He has to take a plunge into direction action,” Vundavalli said.
