V-SAT online entrance test from April 21

The online entrance test for admissions into various courses in Vignan University for the academic year 2018-2019 – Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT) will be held during April 21-25, 2017, said Vice-Chancellor M.Y.S Prasad.

Dr. Prasad released the notification for admission into B.Tech programmes, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and Ph.D programmes. The university is offering admission into B. Pharmacy course from the next academic year.

The V-C said that courses in Agricultural, Automobile, Biotechnology, Bio-Informatics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, Food Technology, IT, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering and Textile and Fashion Technology courses are offered in B.Tech. programme.

He said that the campus placements in the ‘NAAC- A,’ grade University have increased with as many as 716 students getting placed in 57 reputed companies like TCS, IBM, Hyundai, NTT Data, and Genpact etc.

Registrar, M.S.Raghunathan said that the university is offering civil services coaching along with the B.Tech programmes.

Dean, Admissions Dr. V. Ravi Kumar informed that V-SAT applications are available in all the Vignan group of Institutions and at the Vignan offices in Guntur, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Eluru, Rajamahendravaram and Ongole. Students can also apply online from the university website. The university is also offering full scholarships for the first 50 rankers, 50% of scholarship for ranks between 51-100, 25% scholarships for rankers 100-200 and scholarships would be given basing on the students performance in JEE (Mains and Advanced), Eamcet ranks.
