Kakinada, Nov 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Special Protection Force (APSPF) Rajahmundry zone commandant DNA Basha on Monday inaugurated the rescue and relief operations in sea using the power boat to the sixth batch of APSPF personnel at the customs ghat in anchorage port area here.
A batch of 20 SPF personnel will be given the training on rescuing people caught in sea during emergencies.
The training include administering of first aid, operating of boats including Jemini boats for rescuing the people caught in floods and also retrieving valuable articles from getting washed away and diving operations.
The commandant said that 120 SPF personnel were given training in relief and rescue operations till now.
Kakinada Port SPF station inspector YV Kesavaram and assistant commandant Sudhakar would coordinated the training activity, he added.</span>
