Special trains to run between Kakinada and Tirupati in wake of Dussehra

Special Trains will run between Kakinada and Tirupati in view of Brahmotsavam at Tirumala and Dussehra festival.

South Central Railway introduced the latest move in order to manage the extra rush of passengers on account of the two festivals.

Accordingly, Train No. 07941, Kakinada Town-Tirupati special train will depart Kakinada Town at 7:00 p.m. on September 30, 2017 and arrive Tirupati at 06:20 a.m. the next day.

For the return journey, Train No. 07942, Tirupati – Kakinada Town special train will depart from Tirupati at 7:00 p.m. on October 1, 2017 and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:30 a.m. the next day.

The special trains will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta stations.

These Trains will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, II Sleeper, II General and Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

Bapatla, Chirala and Kavali stations are additional stoppages for journeys taken on September 26 and 28 in Train No. 07941 (Kakinada Town-Tirupati special) and the consequent return journeys taken on September 27 and 29 in Train No. 07942 (Tirupati – Kakinada Town special).
