SCR to run special trains for festival season

The South Central Railway, to clear the extra rush during festival season, will run nine special trains between Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam and Hydearabad–Kakinada Port, according to a release here on Tuesday.

Train No. 07148 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam train will depart Hyderabad at 6.50 p.m. on September 28 and 30 and arrive/depart Secunderabad at 7.15/7.20 p.m. It will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 8 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07147 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad will depart Visakhapatnam at 7.20 p.m. on September 29 and October 1 and arrive at Secunderabad at 8.15/8.20 a.m. the next day. It will reach Hyderabad at 8.50 a.m.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalle and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Services to Kakinada

Train No. 07001 Hyderabad–Kakinada Port will depart Hyderabad at 6.50 p.m. on September 27 and 29 and arrive/depart Secunderabad at 7.15/7.20 p.m. and arrive Kakinada Port at 5.35 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07002 Kakinada Port – Hyderabad will depart Kakinada Port at 5.55 p.m. on September 28 and October 2 and arrive/depart Secunderabad at 4.20/4.30 a.m. the next day and arrive at Hyderabad at 5.10 a.m.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at the same stations as Hyderabad- Viskakhapatnam services.
