Left parties will join hands with the democratic and anti-BJP forces : K.Narayana

Stressing the need for new political alternative in the state which he felt that film actor Pawan Kalyan is initiating, he said that the CPI is holding talks as Pawan Kalyan wanted to share some of his ideologies which are nearer to Marxism.

Narayana said here on Thursday. 

He observed that no party in the country can fight the BJP alone as Modi is inclining towards fascism. Stressing the need for new political alternative in the state which he felt that film actor Pawan Kalyan is initiating, he said that the CPI is holding talks as Pawan Kalyan wanted to share some of his ideologies which are nearer to Marxism. However, he made it clear that his party does not want filmy glamour to contest in elections.

He maintained the political situation in the state is becoming worse and film actor Pawan Kalyan is making efforts to convert his Jana Sena organisation into  a political outfit and added that  they don’t know whether Pawan will start party after two years and ask support from left parties or go with TDP or BJP.

Speaking to reporters in Rajamahendravaram on Thursday, Narayana said that people of Prakasam and Rayalaseema districts are facing severe drought conditions and migration problem from last eight months. 

He said that about five lakh people from north Andhra and Rayalaseema districts have left for other states as drought situation is grim. He called upon the people to participate in bandh on May 24  in Prakasam and other Rayalaseema districts. He said that the state government has to pay Rs.530 crore to labour under NREGS which was already released from Centre.Read More...
