ACB to hold awareness camps

Permanent structures for ACB offices to come up at five places

In order to control corruption at every level in the State, the Anti-Corruption Bureau will conduct awareness camps at all educational institutions, said State Director-General (ACB) R.P. Thakur.
At a press conference here on Thursday, Mr. Thakur appealed to people to alert ACB for action against the corrupt. After the inspection of a site for the proposed ACB office building behind the Collector’s Office here, Mr. Thakur said that permanent structures for ACB offices would be built at Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Rajahmundry, Kurnool, and Nellore. Already, land for these buildings was identified.
His department had so far registered 38 trapped cases and five disproportionate assets cases, he said.
