A three-day Mega Market Festival by the B.Com students of the Government Arts College was inaugurated here on Monday by city MLA Akula Satyanarayana.
More than 30 stalls were set up on the Arts College grounds as part of the first-of-its-kind event by commerce students.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the college said that it was a small initiative towards improving business skills, marketing abilities and also communication skills of students. During the festival, the students would sell the products made by them as well as some other products which were useful for students and the general public. Dr. Satyanarayana urged the students to come up with core ideas, business initiatives and marketing techniques.
