Manasa talks about her role in Ladies Tailor sequel

Barely one film old in Tollywood, Manasa Himavarsha has her hands full with three films right now — Nara Rohit’s Appatlo Okadundevadu, Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu and director Vamsy’s next. “Working for ace director Vamsy is a dream come true,” says the actress who has been signed up to play “one of the lead roles” in the upcoming Ladies Tailor sequel. “I will be playing a very strong village girl. It’s a little like the character Mamta Mohandas played in Yamadonga,” enthuses Manasa, barely able to hide her excitement.

Tentatively titled, Fashion Designer s/o Ladies Tailor, the shooting of the film kick-started recently. “I’m just excited about working with Vamsy. He is known for making his heroines look beautiful and I can’t wait to start shooting. The film is set in the Godavari region and it will have a very native village feel to it. Majority of the shooting will take place in and around Rajahmundry,” adds Manasa.
