Boycott AP CM’s visit: Harsha Kumar

Rajamahendravaram: Former Amalapuram MP G V Harsha Kumar has called upon the people to boycott Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the city on Saturday, as the latter failed to fulfil the promises made during Godavari Pushkaralu.


Harsha Kumar commented that the State government has washed its hands by constituting a commission on Pushkarlu stampede, in which 30 people have lost their lives. Speaking to reporters at Rajiv Gandhi College, here on Friday, Harsha Kumar demanded that the Chief Minister should tell the people on what he has done for Dalits. He charged that atrocities on Dailts and vandalism of the statues of Dr B R Ambedkar were on rise in the TDP rule. 


How can Naidu, who commented that no one would want to be born as Dalits, be felicitated by them,” he questioned.Stating that the government did not heed to the requests made by the Christians for the burial ground, he mentioned that has released hundreds of crore for the extension of the Airport.


Citing the quashing of the appointment of Karem Sivaji as the SC/ST Commission chairman by the High Court, he observed that never in the history that a chairman of the commission was stripped off his post.
