YSRCP withdraws no-trust move against Speaker

As expected, the YSR Congress Party has withdrawn the no-confidence motion it had moved against Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao on Friday. The YSRCP made an announcement to this effect in the afternoon.

The BAC, which met here on Thursday, decided to hold a separate day-long Assembly session on April 4 to take up a debate on the no-trust motion against the Speaker, if the YSRCP does not take back the motion.

Now, there will be no debate on the no-trust motion as the YSRCP withdrew its notice. The YSRCP legislators including the party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy offered unconditional apology to the Speaker Rao in the AP Assembly on Thursday.
