Government is trying to make godavari pushkarams like KumbhMela. Special officer for Pushkarams spoken to media at R&B Guest house in Rajahmundry. As per his pressmeet, following points have been observed:
Special common control room will be setup to coordinate will all deparments.
Special mobile phones with GAM technology will be given to 50 main officials.
Water will be supplied through overhead tanks throughout the city.
Pushkarghats from Dawleswaram to Kotilingalapet will be developed for extra space.
Floating swimmer machine will be setup in the godavari river to clean water.
River ambulance will be setup in Godavari.
Sub comittes will be setup to coordinate residence facilities for VIP guests.
