Centre gives nod for AIIMS in AP

Mangalagiri (Guntur): The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given its nod for the establishment of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Mangalagiri. The State government has received communication to this effect from the Union government.

The Union Health and Family Welfare Department will take the responsibility of construction of buildings and supply of medical equipment to AIIMS.
