Admissions Open at Gitam School of Law

VISAKHAPATNAM:GITAM School of Law is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into five-year BA LLB (Hons), five-year BBA LLB (Hons) and three-year LLB programmes for the academic year 2015-16.

The admissions will be held on the basis of scores obtained in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and LSAT India-2015 (Law School Admission Test). Direct admissions are given on merit basis to students who qualify in the exam with at least 45 per cent marks. According to GITAM University vice-chancellor G Subrahmanyam, GITAM Law School will start a counselling-cum-mediation centre, legal aid and legal literacy cell from 2015-16 as a part of its institutional commitment towards a better society.

Law School director Y Satyanarayana informed that the last date for receipt of filled-in applications is July 18, and counselling will be held on August 10 at GITAM School of Law. The Law School focuses on special skills in drafting, pleadings and conveying for better advocacy and judgment writing. It will also impart special skills of drafting for corporate purposes, he said.
