Training will be given for unemployed youth : MEPMA Director P. China Tatayya

Employment opportunities would be provided to 40,000 youth in the state after giving them training in various trades this year. P China Tatayya, director of Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), said here on Friday.Speaking at a meeting held at the Sub-Collector’s office,

He said institutes imparting training to youth would have to be well equipped and should give full-fledged training. He further said bio-metric system would be introduced at the training centres to monitor the attendance of students. Employment would be provided through 36 companies after completion of training, he said. Training institutions which fail to provide full-fledged training would be blacklisted, he warned.

Eligible candidates interested in setting up generic medical shops would be given interest-free loans.He further said MEPMA would sanction loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to women’s groups and up to Rs 2 lakh to individuals.
